We will pick you up at your accomodation in Marrakech and travel to Imlil, the starting point of the Toubkal Trek.

You will meet your guides and portage mules and from here trek 5 hours to the Neltner Refuge (3207m), stopping

for a lunch along the way. Depending on the weather conditions, you will stay the night in a refuge or a tent.

Today you will ascend Mount Toubkal (4167m). From the summit you can take in the breathtaking views of the valleys

below and the Sahara Desert. The day's hike will be 10-12 hours long. You arrive back in Imlil, spending the night in a local guesthouse.

We will depart Imlil and travel to Ait Ben Haddou, the "Hollywood of Morocco" where the movies Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia, among others, have been filmed. Ait Ben Haddou has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. The ksar, a group of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls, is a traditional pre-Saharan habitation and a striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco. From this point you can take in some great views

of the surrounding landscape. Traveling to the Valley of the Roses, the scenery transforms along the riversides and oases. Arriving in Dades Gorges, a traditional Moroccan dinner awaits you at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel we will journey to the Todra Gorge (300m), a large fault line dividing the Atlas Mountains. 

After lunch, we head deep into the Sahara to the village of Merzouga, where we will camel trek to the gorgeous Erg Chebbi dunes, the  highest in Morocco.  At sunset you will ride your camels for an hour and a half and return to camp for a Berber meal and a night spent under the stars at the camp.

We will wake before dawn to enjoy the beautiful desert sunrise. Your camels await you for the journey back to your driver. 

We will drive you back to Marrakech, arriving around 17:00.
